Why I like white fillings.....
..actually they are not white. They are tooth coloured fillings because teeth are not white - anything but white. A pure white filling would stand out like a sore thumb if the tooth itself is not pure white, and so for this reason a properly placed filling should be invisible and not draw attention to itself. The correct name for them is 'composite restorations' and 'glass ionomer restorations'. At Haynesdental we only place white fillings.

Dental Referrals
Here at Haynesdental we are happy to accept referrals for a variety of treatments including Endodontics (root canal), Dental implants, Snoring Devices and Invisible Braces.
Endodontic Clinic.
Our Endodontic Clinic runs in-house on a Monday from 9 - 6pm. Dr Alex Mustard BDS, MFDS, RCS (Eng) MSc (UCL is the endodontist in charge and he has a broad range of clinical experience including almost ten years in general dental practice. Alex completed his MSc in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute with distinction and areas of special interest include facial pain, root canal retreatment and the interaction between root canal treatment and gum disease.
Dr Mustard is happy to provide an opinion and/or management of any root canal treatment or re-treatment including the removal of retained posts and instruments. The intial consultation is £90 but that fee is refunded if the patient proceeds with the treatment plan. Go to this page for further information on Root Canal treatment
Implants
Dr Peter Haynes and Dr Luke Lucas are our in-house implantologists and between them they have 17 years of experience fitting dental implants. They use three different implant systems depending on the situation and which tooth needs replacing and they are both members of the Associatioon for Dental Implantology. Our consultation fee for an out of house referral is £53 which is re-imbursed should you wish to go ahead with treatment. For further information on implants click here

The benefits of being referred to Haynesdental
We are a local practice offering a quick and efficient referrals system (normally we see a patient for an initial consultation within two weeks).
We work in partnership with the referring dentist and provie a written treatment plan with a full estimate of fees to ensure the highest degree of openess and transparency.
The consultation cost is deducted from the final fee should the patient proceed with the treatment plan.
We feel that we provide high quality care at a reasonable price.
